Ukraine U20 National Team Player Maria Rudakova to Continue Her Career at Frank Phillips College
BK-CENTRE President Boris Karebin has confirmed that Ukraine U20 National Team player Maria Rudakova has received an offer and will continue her basketball career at Frank Phillips College (NJCAA, USA).
Maria Rudakova, a native of Kyiv, Ukraine, spent last season at New Mexico Junior College. This summer, she participated in the preparation camp of the Ukraine U20 National Team for the FIBA U20 Women’s European Championship. Although she was not selected for the team’s final tournament roster, Maria remained focused on continuing her basketball journey in the United States.
She will now join Frank Phillips College, where she will continue her development while competing in one of the nation’s respected junior college basketball programs.
BK-CENTRE would like to express its sincere appreciation to our partner, Nathan Altenhofen, who worked tirelessly to find the right opportunity for Maria. Even when it appeared that the chances of securing another college placement were extremely small, he never stopped searching. Thanks to his persistence, dedication, and outstanding efforts, Maria has earned the opportunity to continue her collegiate basketball career at Frank Phillips College.
We congratulate Maria Rudakova on this exciting new chapter in her career and wish her a successful season, continued growth, and many achievements both on and off the court.
